How do you play Catch the Key?
When you press Start, keys begin falling from the top. Move the basket at the bottom left and right with your finger (on mobile) or mouse (on a computer) to catch them. On a computer you can also use the left and right arrow keys. Every key you catch earns points.
What do golden keys do?
About one in eight falling keys is golden and is worth three times a normal key. If you want to climb the score fast, try not to miss the golden ones; but don't let the others slip while you rush.
When does the game end?
The game ends when one of two things happens: time runs out, or you run out of lives. Every key that falls to the ground uncaught costs one life. The time and the number of lives are set by our site and shown live at the top of the screen.
Does the page scroll while I play with my finger on mobile?
No. The play area is specially designed for touch; when you slide your finger inside it, the page does not scroll and there's no unwanted zoom. Outside the play area you can scroll the page normally.
Do I need to register or pay to play?
